More than 15 years after The Social Network captivated audiences with the story of Facebook's creation, a new chapter is coming to the big screen. The Social Reckoning, the highly anticipated sequel to the Oscar-winning film, is set to premiere in theaters this fall.

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, who wrote-* the original 2010 film, The Social Reckoning shifts its focus from the founding of Facebook to the controversies and consequences that followed the platform's explosive rise.
The film is reportedly inspired by the Facebook Files, a series of investigative reports and whistleblower revelations that raised concerns about the company's influence on politics, misinformation, mental health, and user privacy.
Jeremy Strong will portray Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, stepping into a role made famous by Jesse Eisenberg in the original film. The cast also includes Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White in key roles, although specific details about their characters remain under wraps.
