‘Clayface’ Looks Terrifying in New DC Trailer

DC Studios has released a new trailer for Clayface, giving fans their best look yet at one of the darkest and most disturbing movies in the new DC Universe.
Instead of going with a normal superhero movie, Clayface is leaning heavily into horror. The film stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, a rising actor whose career and life are destroyed after a brutal attack leaves him badly disfigured.
The movie is taking a much different approach to Gotham than fans are used to seeing. Rather than focusing on Batman fighting another villain, Clayface appears to be a tragic origin story showing how Hagen slowly becomes one of Gotham City's most recognizable monsters.
Clayface also gives James Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Universe a chance to show that every project does not have to feel the same. The body-horror style makes the movie look completely different from the traditional superhero films audiences have come to expect.
With the new trailer giving audiences a taste of just how creepy Hagen's transformation will become, DC may have one of its most unique comic-book movies yet.
