Kylian Mbappé Returns as EA Sports FC 27 Cover Star

Kylian Mbappé is officially back on the cover of EA Sports FC.

EA Sports revealed the Real Madrid superstar as the cover athlete for EA Sports FC 27’s Ultimate Edition, bringing Mbappé back to the front of the popular soccer video game franchise after a four-year absence.

Mbappé previously became one of the most recognizable faces of EA’s soccer games during the FIFA era. His return for FC 27 marks his first time as the main cover star since the series changed its name from FIFA to EA Sports FC.

The announcement comes after another huge year for the French forward. Mbappé scored 43 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions for Real Madrid during the 2025-26 season. He then carried that form into the 2026 World Cup, scoring a tournament-leading 10 goals and winning the Golden Boot.
