Rapper Travis Scott Taken Into Custody for Disorderly Conduct and Intoxication in Miami Beach

Rapper Travis Scott, also known as Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested early Thursday in Miami Beach, Florida, on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. Police records indicate that Scott, 33, famous for his song "goosebumps," was shouting at people on a yacht at the Miami Beach Marina.

Scott was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 4:30 a.m. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, explained that the arrest stemmed from a misunderstanding and assured there was no physical altercation, expressing gratitude for the authorities' cooperation.

The situation arose when police answered a disturbance call about a fight on the yacht. Officers arrived to find Scott yelling at the occupants and detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath. Though initially cooperative, Scott became unresponsive to commands, leading to his arrest after he returned to the marina following his departure.

Scott admitted to drinking, remarking, “It’s Miami.” He later posted an edited version of his mugshot on Instagram. Scott, who has two children with Kylie Jenner, is anticipated to kick off his European tour, Circus Maximus, in the Netherlands in eight days.
