Streamer Nina Lin has issued a public apology after facing backlash from an old clip of a May 2024 live stream. The footage, which drew significant criticism online, showed Lin and fellow streamer Zoe Spencer holding down and dancing on Said, who is the assistant of content creator FaZe Silky, during the live show.

In the clip, Said seemed clearly uneasy as people in the background showed concern and urged the streamers to cease. Viewers later observed that Said tried to distance himself several times, reportedly attempting to leave the area and even hiding upstairs before being brought back into the stream.
Following the incident, Said initially took to social media to share his feelings of being assaulted, but later deleted those posts. When the footage resurfaced online in 2025, it reignited public outrage and reignited discussions about boundaries, consent, and accountability in the streaming community.
Said later commented in a now-deleted post that he had "spoken out about the situation at first, but no one seemed to care," expressing that he felt dismissed by those around him.
In a recent video statement, Nina Lin addressed the backlash surrounding her actions. Initially, she thought the incident was "just a joke" and noticed everyone laughing at the time. However, she now realizes the impact it had.
At the moment, both Lin’s and Spencer’s Twitch channels are temporarily unavailable due to breaches of the platform’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. Twitch has not provided details on how long the suspensions will last.
This incident has sparked renewed conversations in the streaming community about consent, accountability, and the responsibilities of creators when they broadcast live to large audiences.
