Megan Thee Stallion is set to hit the stage and host the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. The rapper from Texas, who is also a five-time nominee this year, will host the award show for the first time in New York at the "UBS Arena" on September 11th.

Meg the Stallion is finally hosting the VMA's five years after she won her first award for her hit song "Hot Girl Summer", in 2019. But this year she is in the current running for five awards which includes Best Collaboration for her track with GloRila called "Wanna Be" and Best Hip-Hop for "BOA."
The VMAs will also feature performances from musical artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, Camila Cabello, and many more. Katy Perry will also be honored with the 2024 Vanguard Award and will perform some of her classic songs.
The award show was originally scheduled for September 10th, but was rescheduled to September 11th to avoid conflict clashing with the presidential debate.
