Live Action Naruto Movie in Pre Production

The live-action Naruto movie is officially searching for its stars.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton and Lionsgate have launched a worldwide casting call to find the actors who will play Team 7, including Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.

Cretton, who is directing and co-writing the film, said it is an honor to bring Masashi Kishimoto's iconic manga to the big screen in live action. Kishimoto also shared his excitement, saying he looks forward to seeing the actors who will bring his beloved characters to life.

With production now moving ahead, fans around the world have a chance to audition for some of anime's most recognizable roles.
