Druski proved he belongs on one of entertainment's biggest stages Sunday night, making history as the youngest host of the BET Awards while bringing his signature comedic style to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The comedian and content creator opened the 2026 BET Awards with a dramatic entrance from the rafters, setting the tone for a night celebrating Black excellence across music, film, television and sports. Throughout the ceremony, Druski mixed live comedy, celebrity interactions and viral-style sketches that kept the audience entertained between award presentations and performances.

Teyana Taylor was moved to tears after Janet Jackson surprised her with the Icon of the Year Award, while Lauryn Hill received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award before closing the show with performances of "Ex-Factor" and "Everything Is Everything."
