Netflix is diving into the high-profile legal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a new docuseries produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The series, currently in production, will cover the serious charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, sexual assault, and violent abuse that have been leveled against the music mogul. Directed by Alexandria Stapleton, this project will shine a light on the troubling accusations that have surfaced in recent months.

50 Cent first announced the docuseries in December after four women, including Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, filed lawsuits against him. Cassie's lawsuit, which detailed allegations of abuse, sparked a flood of additional claims and legal action. Just last week, Combs was arrested in New York and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force and fraud, and transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty but remains in custody after being denied bail.

In addition to Cassie’s lawsuit, other serious accusations have emerged. In February, former employee Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones filed a lawsuit claiming that Combs made unwanted sexual advances and forced him to hire and engage with sex workers. This was followed by allegations from Grace O'Marcaigh, a steward on a yacht, who accused Combs' son, Christian "King" Combs, of sexual assault, claiming the elder Combs paid off the yacht's captain to cover up the incident. More lawsuits soon followed, including claims from model Crystal McKinney, who said Combs drugged and assaulted her in 2003, and former Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard, who sued for verbal and physical abuse, sexual battery, and emotional distress.

50 Cent, a vocal critic of Diddy, has shared clips on social media of former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry, who accused Diddy of spiking champagne bottles at his parties. Proceeds from the Netflix documentary are said to support victims of sexual assault.
