A former makeup artist and stylist, who worked closely with country stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, has filed a graphic lawsuit in Los Angeles, accusing the singer of multiple instances of sexual assault.

The lawsuit, filed by the woman under the alias Jane Roe, details harrowing accounts of sexual abuse that allegedly began in 2019. According to the lawsuit, Brooks exploited his power and influence to subject Jane Roe to ongoing sexual violence, which the filing describes as "painful and traumatic" assaults. The complaint portrays a disturbing side of Brooks, asserting that he used his position to satisfy his sexual desires at the expense of a female employee.
The allegations in the lawsuit are graphic, with claims so explicit that certain actions are described as "too sordid to mention here." Jane Roe is seeking unspecified damages for the emotional and physical harm she endured during the assaults.
This legal action comes shortly after Brooks, using the alias John Doe, filed a federal lawsuit in Mississippi. In that case, Brooks attempted to block what he called a "fabricated lawsuit" from causing “substantial, irreparable damage” to his reputation and career. However, Jane Roe’s legal team, represented by Wigdor Law, calls Brooks’ Mississippi case a manipulative tactic designed to silence and intimidate his victim.
Jane Roe's lawsuit directly addresses Brooks' legal actions, stating, "The abusive Mississippi action by Brooks is a blatant attempt to further control and bully his sexual assault victim by using his substantial wealth to manipulate the legal system." The filing continues, "Brooks is desperate to keep his fans from learning the truth about the horrific abuse he inflicted on a female employee, but our legal system cannot allow wealthy individuals to evade accountability for their actions."
