Khris Middleton Returns to Wizards in Blockbuster Deal

Three-time NBA All-Star Khris Middleton is heading back to the Washington Wizards after agreeing to a three-year, $17.6 million sign-and-trade contract as part of a massive six-team deal, according to ESPN.

The trade sends Middleton from the Dallas Mavericks back to Washington, where he spent part of the past two seasons after being dealt by the Milwaukee Bucks. The 34-year-old veteran is expected to provide leadership and experience for a Wizards team that continues to reshape its roster.

The six-team trade also includes the Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks. Among the other notable moves, Caris LeVert heads to Milwaukee, John Collins joins Detroit, Isaiah Stewart is traded to Memphis and Santi Aldama lands in Dallas.

Middleton's new contract is worth $17.6 million over three years, with only the first season fully guaranteed. The move gives the Wizards a proven veteran presence while adding another experienced piece to a young roster looking to compete in the Eastern Conference.
