Chris Brown is entangled in legal trouble once again, as multiple men have filed a $50 million lawsuit against him. The lawsuit claims that Brown attacked concertgoers during his show in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 20. Filed today in Harris County, Texas, by Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, the suit names Brown, his tour promoter Live Nation, Sinko Ceej, Hood Boss, and Yella Beezy as defendants. In addition to the monetary damages, the plaintiffs are seeking a temporary restraining order against all defendants.

According to the complaint first reported by TMZ, the incident occurred backstage at Dickies Arena following Brown's performance as part of his 11:11 Tour. The plaintiffs allege they were invited backstage, but things took a violent turn when Bush attempted to congratulate Brown. A member of Brown's entourage reportedly reminded Brown of past issues with Bush, to which Brown allegedly responded, “Oh yeah, we were. What’s up, n—a? I don’t forget shit.” The suit claims Brown and his entourage then assaulted Bush, with Hood Boss allegedly throwing a chair at Bush's head.
The violence didn't stop there. The complaint details that Parker was attacked next, trying to escape down a staircase only to find a locked door. Following Brown's instructions, Parker was allegedly beaten for over 10 minutes. Powell and Lewis also suffered injuries, with Powell being punched in the shoulder and Lewis being hit in the shoulder and chest. All plaintiffs are reportedly receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
The plaintiffs' attorney, Tony Buzbee, stated, “No one should have to endure what these clients endured. We will seek the maximum amount of damages allowed by law for this egregious conduct.”
This lawsuit adds to Brown's history of legal issues, including his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, a 2012 altercation with Drake, a 2016 lawsuit by his former manager for assault and battery, and a 2017 restraining order from ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran over alleged threats.
