The New York Giants are bringing back one of the most electrifying players in franchise history, signing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year contract in a move that reunites the star pass catcher with the team that drafted him.

Beckham, 33, spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Giants after being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. During his time in New York, he quickly became one of the league’s most recognizable stars, earning three Pro Bowl selections and producing four consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
The highlight of Beckham’s Giants tenure remains his unforgettable one-handed touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, a play widely regarded as one of the greatest catches in NFL history.
After being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Beckham’s career included stops with the Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins. He helped the Rams capture Super Bowl LVI before suffering a knee injury during the championship game.
Now, Beckham returns to a Giants team looking to add experience and playmaking ability to its receiving corps. While he is no longer the explosive young superstar who dazzled fans a decade ago, the organization believes his veteran leadership and familiarity with the franchise can provide value both on and off the field.
The signing also gives Giants fans a chance to reconnect with one of the most popular players in recent team history. Beckham remains a fan favorite in New York, where his spectacular catches and dynamic personality helped define an era of Giants football.
As the 2026 season approaches, all eyes will be on Beckham’s return and whether he can help spark a new chapter for the franchise where his NFL journey began.
