"The Minnesota Twins" Unveil Nike City Connect Jerseys with "The Ripple Effect"

This morning marked the debut of the Minnesota Twins' Nike City Connect jerseys, featuring a mesmerizing array of blues symbolizing the theme of "The Ripple Effect." The team is set to showcase these unique uniforms in 11 games throughout the season, starting this Friday and Saturday against the A's. Moreover, fans can expect to see them on every remaining Friday home game, along with a couple of additional Saturdays.

To commemorate the launch of the City Connect jerseys, Target Field’s New Era Team Store opened its doors at 9 am CT, offering a full day of festivities. Attendees were treated to various activities, including art showcases, live music performances, delectable food options, and appearances by players.

The inspiration behind the design pays homage to Minnesota's rich heritage, with the state's name derived from the Dakota phrase "Mni Sota Makoce," meaning "where the water reflects the sky." Nike and the Twins embraced this concept by incorporating shades of blue reminiscent of the glistening reflections on water surfaces. Additionally, splashes of yellow and pink evoke the serene hues of a lakeside sunset.
