Meet Lovewell New England's Next Big Band
Lovewell is an emerging band from Massachusetts and New Hampshire with the talent and ambition to become one of the standout bands to come out of the New England music scene.

Rather than sticking to one specific sound, Lovewell draws inspiration from a variety of influential bands, including Basement, Title Fight and Tigers Jaw.
Their music blends different styles and influences while allowing the band to develop an identity of its own. With a growing sound and plenty of potential, Lovewell hopes to continue building its presence in the scene and eventually have the opportunity to work alongside some of the iconic bands that have inspired them.
Where Does The Name Lovewell Come From
Before Lovewell had a name, Joe Bradshaw and Mark Palladino were spending time in their practice space in New Hampshire, jamming together and writing songs. One day, while recording a voice note of one of their ideas, they noticed the location attached to the recording: they were at the intersection of Main Street and Lovewell Street.

The name “Lovewell” immediately stood out to them. Both Joe and Mark liked the idea of having a simple, one-word name for the band, and Lovewell felt like the perfect fit. They checked Spotify to see if the name was already being used, and after finding that it was available, they decided to make it official.
And just like that, Lovewell was born.
The Impact of Social Media
For Lovewell, social media has become one of the most important ways to connect with new listeners. Whether it’s TikTok, Instagram or another platform, the band believes that
“What you get from it is however much you put into it.”
That approach has paid off, as people frequently come up to the band at shows and tell them that social media is how they discovered Lovewell.
That experience is something we see at TooRecklss as well. Social media has become one of the main ways we discover new and emerging musicians. We’re constantly scrolling through Instagram and TikTok looking for artists who deserve more attention.
And, if you’re an old head like myself, sometimes even Facebook Reels can surprise you with a great new band.
Inspiration Behind The Song Gloaming
Gloaming was always such an odd word I wanted to ask what is the reason behind naming a song on Lovewell's new album titled Everything You Ever Wanted.
Gloaming by definition is "The fading light or the transitional period between day and night" and is my favorite song of the band.
A band member once heard an older song titled "In the Gloaming" while working at an assisted living home and always wished to name a song after it.
After 10 years, he finally succeeded in releasing that song for listeners to enjoy.
Upcoming Shows for Lovewell
Lovewell is continuing to build momentum with several upcoming shows that will give the band another opportunity to connect with fans and introduce their music to new audiences. The band will hit Autodidact in Morris Plains, New Jersey, on Sept. 25, followed by Cassette in New York City on Sept. 26 and The Nook in Westfield, Massachusetts, on Sept. 27.
With three shows across three different cities, Lovewell will have the chance to reach new listeners while continuing to grow its presence throughout the Northeast music scene. This expansion not only showcases their talent but also strengthens their connection with diverse audiences, paving the way for future opportunities and collaborations.
