The Philadelphia Eagles will have to deal with the absence of their star defensive player, James Bradberry, being out of action.

The veteran defensive back, who recently transitioned from cornerback to safety, suffered a lower leg injury during practice on Wednesday. This setback has expected to keep him sidelined for 6-8 weeks. According to NFL Media, James injuries involves a tendon, but it wont require surgery.
The Eagles had high hopes for the 31-year-old defensive back being a reliable presence within their backfield. Bradberry, a second-round draft pick in 2016, began his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, where he played for four seasons before moving on to play for the New York Giants. He then joined the Eagles in 2022 and quickly made an impact, having 13 passes defensed and one interception in the last 16 games last season.
