The legendary soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is making history once again by launching his own YouTube channel. Ronaldo marked a new milestone in his illustrious career with the debut of his channel on Wednesday.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner introduced his channel with a video revealing a golden "play
button" – an award given to YouTube channels that surpass one million subscribers. In true Ronaldo fashion, the channel was an instant hit, reaching the one-million-subscriber mark within a staggering 90 minutes, making it the fastest channel to ever achieve this milestone according to ESPN's Adriana Garcia.
Following its launch, Ronaldo's YouTube channel has experienced a significant surge in popularity. Having already uploaded 19 videos, the channel has attracted an impressive 22.1 million subscribers and is still growing rapidly. This achievement further solidifies Ronaldo's reputation for breaking records on various social media platforms.
Ronaldo’s influence extends far beyond YouTube. He holds the record for the most-followed account on Instagram, with 636 million followers. On Facebook, he commands an audience of 170 million, and on X (formerly known as Twitter), he has 112.6 million followers. His ability to engage and captivate audiences across various platforms is unparalleled.
Ronaldo's latest success on YouTube follows a historic season with Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, where the 39-year-old forward scored 35 goals, setting a new single-season scoring record for the league. Now, with his YouTube channel already eligible for the diamond play button – awarded for surpassing 10 million subscribers – Ronaldo is on track to receive more recognition for his digital dominance.
